I have been fascinated about Trauma and how it impacts an individual since my own traumatic birth experience and being really confused about my behaviour afterwards.
It was only after coming across Mayameens BeyongTrauma Programme, that I was able to have a more coherent and deeper understanding of what Trauma is, how it shows up and how to heal from it, that I was better able to support my clients through their own trauma healing journey,
I would highly recommend the BeyondTrauma Diploma and Business for anyone who is working within a therapeutic setting and want to have a greater in-depth understanding of trauma and have the knowledge, tools and strategies, as well as the tribe support from Mayameen and the Facilitators Network to take their practice to the next level.

It is important to make sure you hold the relevant insurance for the work you carry out.

Qualified Therapists should hold the required Insurance (Professional and Public Indemnity), and the burden on being appropriately qualified and insured is upon yourself.

If you are a Coach, There are no legal standards required to become a life coach, but certification is available through the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Therefore it is important that you have the necessary Insurance to cover your practice, you can apply for Insurance via PolicyBee, whom provide small business insurance for freelancers, sole traders and limited companies.

No — you do not need to be BACP-accredited or a registered therapist to complete the BeyondTrauma™ Level 4 Diploma.

This programme is a psychoeducational training pathway, not a clinical psychotherapy qualification, and it is proudly accredited by ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists & Hypnotherapists).

This accreditation recognises:

✔ the depth and quality of the training
✔ professional standards in delivery
✔ trauma-informed learning outcomes

It is not a requirement — nor a limitation — that the course is registered with BACP.

Many people working in trauma-informed practice come from a wide range of backgrounds including coaching, education, wellbeing, advocacy, social care, youth work, peer-support and lived-experience leadership — as well as therapists and counsellors.

What matters is that learners:

✔ work ethically
✔ operate within their scope of practice
✔ hold appropriate insurance
✔ follow safeguarding policy

It is each facilitator’s responsibility to ensure they are appropriately qualified and insured for the type of work they choose to deliver.

The BeyondTrauma™ Diploma strengthens your professional knowledge, credibility and trauma-informed understanding — whether you already work in the field or are developing a new pathway.

• global online cohorts

Her work is survivor-led, ethically informed and grounded in both professional training and lived understanding.

This Diploma allows you to learn directly from the modality founder — while becoming part of a professional network committed to safe, ethical and trauma-informed practice.

As an Organisational Member of ACCPH, Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists, means we belong to a professional body.

ACCPH sets high standards and only accept graduates with certificates and diplomas they know are of a stringent quality. We are very proud to have met those stadards with Accreditation and Validation.

ACCPH give Professional Accreditation or Endorsement. When they accredit or endorse a course at a Level it is approximately equivalent to that Level of those qualifications that are listed on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF is the national framework of UK qualifications, and the certificate of achievement is issued by a National Awarding Organisation.

Facilitators are Accredited with a Level 4 Diploma which is equivalent to a Foundation Degree, not only due to the numbers of hours of study, practice hours, but also the quality and constringent standards of training required to achieve this high level diploma.

All Facilitators are trained to a Level 4, recognising their elite status.

Validated CPD, requires no practice hours and is part of the continuing professional development, and is therefore recognised at a Level 1-2.

These endorsements are robust and based on the standards used by Ofqual and therapy/coaching professional bodies.

These will be either certificate or diploma level; 3 – 6, such as our Facilitators Diploma Level 4, which is a major qualification.

CPD workshops are validated as being of sufficient quality. These will gain a certificate of attendance.

ACCPH sets high standards for validated CPD.

In effect they provide the independent quality assurance required in the modern world.

Only CPD they accept as of the correct standards and quality will be accepted as valid.

Therefore, though our programmes, courses and training are CPD validated they are still recognised with the appropriate standard of level met by ACCPH.

For those who have completed our CPD validated courses, they can progress onto our Level 4 Diploma.

You can feel confident that your investment in the BeyondTrauma™ Level 4 Diploma is not only meaningful — it is also financially sustainable and professionally rewarding.

The monthly £39 Facilitator Licence ensures you remain connected, supported and recognised as part of the BeyondTrauma™ Modality — helping you grow your practice with confidence.

In short:

Your return is measured in both impact and income —
as you build a meaningful, ethical and sustainable trauma-informed career.

You decide your pricing, your audience and your business model. We provide the training, structure and professional backbone — so you never walk this journey alone.

You complete your training and qualification directly under Mayameen Meftahi BEM, the creator and author of the BeyondTrauma™ modality. Your Level 4 Diploma is awarded through this training pathway and accredited by ACCPH.

Once you qualify, your Facilitator Licence sits under BeyondTrauma Academy CIC — our Community Interest Company. This means your monthly £39 licence fee is paid to the CIC, not to Mayameen personally.

This structure is really important, because:

✔ The CIC exists to protect the integrity of the BeyondTrauma™ modality
✔ It ensures ethical, trauma-informed standards across all facilitators
✔ It enables continued supervision spaces, resources, and professional guidance
✔ And — most importantly — it allows the CIC to reinvest into subsidised and funded trauma recovery access for women who otherwise could not afford support

So your membership doesn’t just maintain your professional recognition —
it actively helps sustain a social mission, supporting trauma recovery access for women who may otherwise be excluded.

In simple terms:

🌸 TRAINING & DIPLOMA — delivered by Mayameen Meftahi (Author & Founder)
🌸 LICENCE & ONGOING SUPPORT — held within BeyondTrauma Academy CIC – that Mayameen leads

This ensures the modality remains survivor-led, values-driven, accountable, and protected — while also allowing the work to reach women who need it most.
