🎓 ACCPH Accredited Level 4 Diploma in Trauma-Informed Facilitation
Created and authored by Mayameen Meftahi BEM, this nationally accredited qualification is recognised by the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH) and is equivalent to Level 4 study (Foundation Degree level).
Your diploma demonstrates that you have completed comprehensive training in trauma-informed facilitation, ethical practice, client safety and psychoeducational programme delivery.
In a sector with limited regulation, it provides clients, organisations and employers with confidence that your knowledge and practice are grounded in recognised professional standards.
Following qualification, you may also choose to apply for fast-tracked ACCPH Professional Membership, allowing you to further strengthen your professional profile and visibility. Membership is entirely optional—your accredited qualification stands independently.
🌿 Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator
Upon qualification and activation of your Facilitator Licence, you will become a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator, authorised to deliver the official BeyondTrauma Recovery Programme™ under licence from BeyondTrauma Academy CIC.

Meet Your Trainer
Mayameen Meftahi is the creator of the BeyondTrauma™ methodology and a nationally-recognised Trauma Specialist, honoured with the British Empire Medal for her services to child victims of sexual abuse. Drawing on lived experience, clinical training and over a decade of frontline work, she developed the BeyondTrauma™ Recovery Programme as a psychoeducational, non-disclosure pathway to healing — now delivered internationally and accredited at Level 4 with ACCPH.
Mayameen has lectured at the Queen’s Nursing Institute, delivered professional training across sectors, featured in national media, and supported survivors through advocacy, consultancy and programme development. Her passion is restoring agency, dignity and safety to those affected by trauma — while raising ethical standards within an unregulated industry. As your trainer, Mayameen walks beside you — blending compassion, grounded expertise and real-world insight — so you can grow in confidence as a trauma-informed facilitator and become part of a movement that changes lives.

From Healing to Leading: Meet Sayyida Bano
Sayyida joined the BeyondTrauma Programme seeking deeper understanding — not just for herself, but to better support others.
Through her journey, she developed a clearer understanding of trauma, how it shows up, and how healing can truly take place. But what followed went beyond personal growth.
She is now a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator, running her own faith-based coaching and mentoring practice — supporting women through marriage, motherhood, and midlife with a trauma-informed approach.
Her words say it best:
It was only after coming across Mayameens BeyondTrauma Programme, that I was able to have a more coherent and deeper understanding of what Trauma is, how it shows up and how to heal from it, that I was better able to support my clients through their own trauma healing journey,.
I would highly recommend the BeyondTrauma Diploma and Business for anyone who is working within a therapeutic setting and want to have a greater in-depth understanding of trauma and have the knowledge, tools and strategies, as well as the tribe support from Mayameen and the Facilitators Network to take their practice to the next level.

This approach protects the integrity of the BeyondTrauma™ Modality while ensuring every participant has access to their own high-quality learning resource.
Yes — always.
Yes. As a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator, you are authorised to use the BeyondTrauma™ Recovery Programme, methodology, psychoeducation and professional resources under licence from BeyondTrauma Academy CIC.
When referencing or teaching concepts, tools or resources developed through the BeyondTrauma™ Modality, appropriate attribution should always be provided.
This includes areas such as:
- Subjective Units of Distress (SUDs)
- Anger Management
- Emotional Numbing
- Safety, Avoidance & Coping Mechanisms
- Trauma Psychoeducation
- Grounding and Regulation Techniques
- Workbook content and reflective exercises
- Resources provided through the BeyondTrauma Advisory Network (BTAN)
A simple acknowledgement is all that’s required, for example:
“BeyondTrauma™ is a survivor-led trauma-informed modality created by Mayameen Meftahi BEM and governed by BeyondTrauma Academy CIC.”
Providing appropriate attribution reflects professional integrity, respects intellectual property and acknowledges the survivor-led origins of the methodology. It also helps maintain consistency and trust across the BeyondTrauma™ facilitator network.
Failure to comply with the Facilitator Licence Agreement, including the appropriate attribution of the BeyondTrauma™ Modality, may result in the suspension or termination of your Facilitator Licence and BTAN Membership.
Yes. Upon successfully completing the BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma, you may choose to apply for fast-tracked professional membership with the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH).

Absolutely.
Many of our facilitators use their qualification and licence to establish or expand their own trauma-informed services, whether in private practice, community settings or organisations.
As a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator, you can:
✨ Deliver the official BeyondTrauma™ Recovery Programme under licence.
✨ Offer one-to-one and group trauma recovery programmes.
✨ Develop your own trauma-informed workshops, courses and wellbeing services.
✨ Integrate the BeyondTrauma™ methodology, tools and psychoeducation into your wider practice.
✨ Promote yourself as a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator and reference your ACCPH Accredited Level 4 Diploma.
Whether you’re starting a new venture or enhancing an existing service, the BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma provides a professionally recognised framework that helps you deliver safe, ethical and survivor-led trauma-informed support with confidence.
Yes. If you intend to work professionally with clients, it is your responsibility to ensure you hold appropriate insurance for the services you provide.
The type of insurance you require will depend on your professional role and the way you deliver your services.
For example:
- Therapists, counsellors and psychotherapists should hold the appropriate Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance required by their profession.
- Coaches, facilitators, trainers, community practitioners and wellbeing professionals should ensure they have suitable insurance that covers the activities they intend to undertake.
As a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator, you are responsible for ensuring your insurance accurately reflects your qualifications, scope of practice and the services you offer.
Many facilitators choose providers such as PolicyBee, which offers insurance for freelancers, sole traders and limited companies. However, you are free to choose any insurer that provides appropriate cover for your professional activities.
If you are unsure what level of insurance you require, we recommend discussing your work with your chosen insurer before beginning practice.
Holding a BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Licence does not replace your responsibility to obtain appropriate insurance or comply with any legal, regulatory or professional requirements relevant to your own practice.
No. You do not need to be registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or already be a qualified therapist to enrol on the BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma.
The BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma is a psychoeducational qualification, not a clinical counselling or psychotherapy qualification. It is accredited by ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists), recognising the quality, depth and professional standards of the training.
Our learners come from a wide range of backgrounds, including:
✔ Coaches and mentors
✔ Counsellors and therapists
✔ Support workers and advocates
✔ Social care, healthcare and education professionals
✔ Youth and community workers
✔ Charity professionals
✔ Survivors looking to develop a meaningful, professionally recognised career
What matters most is that you:
- Work ethically and within your scope of practice.
- Hold appropriate insurance for the services you provide.
- Follow safeguarding and data protection requirements.
- Deliver trauma-informed support safely and professionally.
Throughout the diploma, you’ll be trained in these principles and supported to understand the professional responsibilities of becoming a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator.
This is a great question, and one that often causes confusion.
Although both support professional development, an accredited diploma and CPD-validated training serve different purposes.
🎓 ACCPH Accredited Diploma
The BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma is accredited by ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists) as a Level 4 Diploma in Trauma-Informed Facilitation, recognising the depth, quality and professional standards of the training.
This qualification includes:
✔ Over 120 hours of guided learning
✔ Practical observation and reflective assessment
✔ Knowledge checks and assignments
✔ A live professional evaluation
✔ Demonstration of competence and ethical practice
Successful graduates receive an ACCPH Accredited Level 4 Diploma, which is recognised by ACCPH as being equivalent to Level 4 study (Foundation Degree level).
📚 ACCPH-Validated CPD Training
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is designed to help professionals develop or update their knowledge and skills through shorter courses, workshops and specialist training.
Our CPD-validated courses are independently reviewed by ACCPH to ensure they meet high standards of educational quality. Participants receive a Certificate of Attendance together with the relevant CPD hours or credits awarded for that training.
While CPD training is an excellent way to expand your professional knowledge, it is not the same as completing an accredited diploma, which involves a much broader programme of learning, assessment and competency.
Which Should I Choose?
If you’re looking to:
- Gain specialist knowledge in a particular area, CPD training may be the right choice.
If you’re looking to:
- Achieve a recognised professional qualification
- Become a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator
- Deliver the official BeyondTrauma™ Recovery Programme
- Build a trauma-informed career with ongoing professional recognition
then the ACCPH Accredited Level 4 Diploma is the appropriate pathway.
Many learners begin with one of our CPD courses before progressing to the BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma as the next step in their professional development.
Investing in the BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma is about far more than gaining a qualification—it’s about building a sustainable, purpose-driven professional future.
As a Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator, you’ll have the opportunity to:
✔ Deliver the official BeyondTrauma™ Recovery Programme within your own private practice, organisation or community setting.
✔ Offer one-to-one and group trauma recovery programmes.
✔ Develop trauma-informed workshops, courses and wellbeing services.
✔ Strengthen your existing coaching, counselling, education, healthcare or community-based practice.
✔ Position yourself as a recognised specialist in a growing field of trauma-informed support.
Many facilitators find that their qualification helps them:
✨ Enhance their professional credibility.
✨ Attract new clients and referral opportunities.
✨ Expand the range of services they can confidently offer.
✨ Increase their visibility through specialist trauma-informed practice.
✨ Open doors to training, consultancy and partnership opportunities.
In addition to the qualification itself, your Facilitator Licence provides ongoing value through:
💫 BTAN Gold Professional Membership
💫 An ever-growing library of professional resources
💫 Quarterly networking and reflective practice forums
💫 Continuing professional development and learning updates
💫 Annual conference access
💫 A supportive community of trauma-informed professionals
As BeyondTrauma Academy CIC continues to secure commissioned services and funded projects, Licensed BeyondTrauma™ Facilitators may also be considered for delivery opportunities on behalf of the CIC, where suitable opportunities arise.
Ultimately, your return on investment isn’t measured solely in financial terms—it’s reflected in the confidence, credibility, professional opportunities and positive impact you create through safe, ethical and survivor-led trauma-informed practice.
Your pricing, your audience and your business model remain your own. The BeyondTrauma™ Facilitator Diploma provides the accredited training, licensed methodology and ongoing professional support to help you build a career with confidence.
You complete your Level 4 Diploma in Trauma-Informed Facilitation directly with Mayameen Meftahi BEM—the creator and author of the BeyondTrauma™ Modality, founder of BeyondTrauma Academy CIC, and your lead trainer throughout the qualification.
Your diploma is accredited by ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists) and awarded through this training pathway.
Once you qualify, your ongoing Facilitator Licence is held by BeyondTrauma Academy CIC, the organisation responsible for governing, protecting and developing the BeyondTrauma™ Modality.
This means your £39 monthly Facilitator Licence fee is paid to the CIC, not to Mayameen personally.
Why is the licence held by the CIC?
This structure ensures that the BeyondTrauma™ Modality remains professionally governed, ethically delivered and sustainably developed for the future.
Your Facilitator Licence helps BeyondTrauma Academy CIC to:
✔ Maintain high standards of governance, quality assurance and ethical practice across the facilitator network.
✔ Develop new professional resources, guidance and continuing professional development opportunities.
✔ Provide BTAN Gold Membership, networking forums and ongoing facilitator support.
✔ Protect and further develop the BeyondTrauma™ Modality and its intellectual property.
✔ Reinvest into the CIC’s social mission by helping to expand access to funded and subsidised trauma recovery programmes for women who may otherwise be unable to access support.
